He goes to Hyderabad to ask the help of politicians n then to Chief minister he knows.he stays in his Aunt's (Roja)house n fell in childish love with his Cousin SreeDevi (Praneetha) which later endup in total mess..later  He came to know that Bhupathi is fraud just for their electoral promises he showed affection on his family n to his town ..realizing his back wicked nature he decided to play political game with him for his downfall by Seeking help from an Auto driver Rajini a.k.a. Appalraju (Santhanam) he uses his cunning Shakuni mind on local money lender cum Don Ramanakka (Radhika) and Sanyasi B.D.Baba (Nassar) and political leader named Perumal (Kota Srinivasa Rao). who is the head of the Opposition Party in the state.Kamal manages all of them to play according to his tunes and succeeds.. The rest of the story is all about how he gets back his property. Performance ; Karthi is extremely lovable with his cute looks and smile, he pulled out his character v.well though his own dubbing lacks clarity n diction, he performed with ease..pranitha got very less screen time ,she doesn't have expressions or a role to performance, she looked beautiful in 2 songs though, Radhika is commandable with her role and performance, Nassar suited in his swamiji avatar, Prakash raj plays his own routine villan character ,Kota is good as usual.Roja done a fine job in limited role,Santhanam is seen through out the movie,he entertaines.Kiran Rathod role is suprise element in this movie. Plus Points  Shakuni Title is the huge plus which generated huge positive hype for this movie,Karthi's performance is good,2nd half runs soo fast which leave us nothing to feel bore, We can connect with the current political affairs in the state with political sattires in the movie,Lead Actress Anushka's fun police cop guest role entertains n Andrea Cameo's suprises Minus Points The movies offers nothing new, we  seen such types of shakuni hero characters  in every telugu movie, the story line is abit similar to Raviteja's Bhageeradha movie,Anushka's n Andrea guest roles killed 10-15 mins of screentime intended just becoz for one comic dialouge " Neeku Anushka, Andrea le paddaruu afterall nee atta kutuuru padadda" .Heroine role has nothing to offer inaddition the romantic love sceens between them are handed poorly,Santannam comic parallel track in first half lacks pace n fun.1st half is bad ,Story doesnt move n struck between heroine n Santanam's not so good comedy track,Second half is clumsy about politics and how Kamal get his Shakuni acts in Corporation elections, then followed by General elections,too much happenings in v.short time Technical Aspects : Direction by Shanker Dayal is adequate. Screenplay is slow in the first half, but becomes very predictable in the second half ,Editing during the first half was good as the sequences between Santhanam and Karthi were different and interesting. But at few places one could get a feeling that they got dragged. Music by talented G.V.Prakash is huge disapointment, just four songs in the movie (5th song on election's got sensored i guess ) with a couple of tunes giving 'heard before' feeling,Even the background score is very dull and the poor re-recording fails to elevate the scenes,but one song is beautifully shot in awesome locations in Poland.Cinematography is good and consistent,Director made sure of cast that there are few familiar Telugu faces, like roja,radhika,kota sreenivas rao but still  Dubbing is really bad,no proper lip synchronizing in many scenes, giving u a feel u r watching a dubbing movie.There is only one fight in the movie, Producer Bellam Konda Suresh whose always keen in buying re-make rights ,bought this movie and advertised v.well, but changing native to Hyderabad n showing Harbor in the very first song does create a false impact Analysis 1st half is boring n weak, 2nd half is racy with political melodrama and entertain us in bits,climax is predictable as there is no proper conflict between hero and villain.Hero achieves things so easily, This film heavily suffers from simple story, predictable narration and casual direction.on the whole Shakuni is a disappointment and You may watch it if you have nothing better to do.It can sustain just 2 week run at box office as there will be flood of releases at Telugu box-office,  Final words Shakuni wasn't exciting enough to watch despite aggressive marketing. Even good Title would be enough to draw crowds as it is proved with 3 days collections over 15Crores in both Telugu n Tamil bottom line This Shakuni’s dice is very weak…
